Yellow Peak

Logo development for a cycle studio

08/2019
Inputs
Client

The main service of Yellow Peak is a unique cycle program as a new trend and an alternative to traditional fitness. The studio is equipped with high-tech cycle simulators. Group classes are guided by professional athletes. Virtual Zwift tracks are also available. Club also offers circular training programs, stretching and fitness in addition to cycling.

Aim

The aim of branding is to cary the passion for professional sports, personal records and achievements. The task for the logo is to serve as a starting point for the visual identity, which will become the language of this new brand.

Logotype

The logo should simultaneously influence the image of the company and on the image of the main product as a fashion trend.

Therefore, ideally, it should meet the following requirements:

• Thoughtful, has a message / idea / meaning
• Current / modern / fashionable
• Confident
• Graphicaly complete (pleasing to the eye)
• Not verbatim (it quickly gets boring)
• Original

Type

The font in this case is even more important than the graphic sign itself. A modern geometric grotesque should suit perfectly.

A good example of such a type would be Gotham Pro or Montserrat as a free alternative.
